This class is all about creating space in the body and, through the powerful dragon pose, releasing stuck tension, emotion, and stress that may be held in the psoas.. a muscle located deep within the hip joint.
On a physical level, dragon poses are incredible for releasing lower back pain and tension stored in the hips. But we like to go deeper than that…. In this 90 minute practice, you’ll create space and let go of what you no longer need to move toward deep rest and relaxation.. purifying the body and mind by placing a twinkling, star-like point of light systematically throughout the body in various Marma points.
This practice will refresh you and transform you in exactly the way you need today. It’s also the perfect class to practice at home during this cyclone… tuning in with the elements of nature, practicing cultivating calm amidst the storm.
Support isnt necessary but if you have it I would reccomend a blanket, bolster, block, and eye cloth (for relaxation at the end of practice)
